Hai, kali ini kita bakal bahas tentang Future tense. 

Apa sih Future Tense itu dan apa sih gunanya?

1. PENGERTIAN

 Future tense adalah tensis yang digunakan untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang terjadi di masa/waktu yang akan datang.

“Future tense is used to express actions that occur in the future / the future.”

2. PEMBAGIAN

Future tense terdiri atas 4 tensis yaitu:
a. Simple Future Tense
b. Future Continuous Tense
c. Future Perfect Tense
d. Future Perfect Continuous Tense

Berikut pembahasan singkat mengenai Future Tense.

A. SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE
1. PENGERTIAN
Simple Future Tense adalah tensis sederhana yang digunakan untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang terjadi masa/waktu yang akan datang.

“Simple Future Tense is the tense used to express actions that occur in the future.”

2. RUMUS
Berikut rumus dari Simple Future Tense.
RUMUS:
A. S + Shall/Will + be + ...
B. S + Shall/Will + Verb I + ...
C. S + to be + going to + Verb I + ... 

3. CONTOH
Berikut 3 contoh untuk Simple Future Tense.
a. (+) : I shall play tomorrow.
(-) : I shall not play tomorrow.
(?) : Shall I play tomorrow?

b. (+) : Toni will be here soon.
(-) : Toni won't be here soon.
(?) : Will Toni be here soon?

c. (+) : Sherly will eat rice.
(-) : Sherly will not eat rice.
(?) : Will Sherly eat rice?

d. (+) : Lely is going to go to Malang next week.
(-) : Lely isn't going to go to Malang next week.
(?) : Is Lely going to go to Malang next week?

e. (+) : We are going to study English.
(-) : We aren't going to study English.
(?) : Are we going to study English?

B. FUTURE CONTINOUS TENSE
1. PENGERTIAN
Future Continuous Tense adalah tensis yang digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kejadian yang akan sedang terjadi pada waktu yang akan datang.

“Future Continuous Tense is the tense used to express an event that will be happening in the future.”

2. RUMUS
Berikut rumus untuk Future Continuous Tense.
RUMUS:
(+) : S + Shall/Will + Be + Verb-ing + ...
(-) : S + Shall/Will + Not + Be + Verb-ing + ...
(?) : Shall/Will + S + Be + Verb-ing + ... + ?

3. CONTOH
Berikut contoh dari Future Continuous Tense.
a. (+) : You will be travelling to Denpasar at this time tomorrow.
(-) : You won't be travelling to Denpasar at this time tomorrow.
(?) : Will you be travelling to Denpasar at this time tomorrow?

b. (+) : They will be swimming at two next monday.
(-) : They won't be swimming at two next monday.
(?) : Will they be swimming at two next monday?

c. (+) : You will be going to school at six tomorrow morning.
(-) : You won't be going to six tomorrow morning.
(?) : Will you be going to school at six tomorrow morning?

d. (+) : I shall be buying a book at seven to night.
(-) : I shan't be buying a book at seven to night.
(?) : Shall I be buying a book at seven to night?

e. (+) : I will be studying at eight next week.
(-) : I won't be studying at eight next week.
(?) : Will I be studying at eight next week?

C. FUTURE PERFECT TENSE
1. PENGERTIAN
Future Perfect Tense adalah tensis yang digunakan untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang sudah dimulai di waktu lampau dan segera selesai di waktu yang akan datang.

“Future Perfect Tense is the tense used to express action that has already begun in the past and be completed in time to come.”

2. RUMUS
Berikut rumus dari Future Perfect Tense.
RUMUS:
A. S + Shall/Will + Have + Been + ...
B. S + Shall/Wiil + Have + Verb III + ...

3. CONTOH
Berikut contoh dari Future Perfect Tense.
a. (+) : I will have been at the office.
(-) : I won't have been at the office.
(?) : Will I have been at the office?

b. (+) : We shall have finished the work by Sunday.
(-) : We shan't have finished the work by Sunday.
(?) : Shan't we have finished the work by Sunday?

c. (+) : They will have done it by Monday.
(-) : They won't have done it by Monday.
(?) : Will they have done it by Monday?

d. (+) : He will have been here by this night.
(-) : He won't have been here by this night.
(?) : Will he have been here by this night?

e. (+) : She will have followed the best by the end of this year.
(-) : She won't have followed the best by the end of this year.
(?) : Will she have followed the best by the end of this year?

D. FUTURE PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE
1. PENGERTIAN
Future Perfect Continuous Tense adalah tensis yang digunnakan untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang sudah dimulai pada waktu lampau dan masih ada kemungkinan untuk dilanjutkan pada waktu yang akan datang.

“Future Perfect Continuous Tense is the tense used to express action that has already begun in the past and it is still possible to proceed in the future.”

2. RUMUS
Berikut rumus dari Future Perfect Continuous Tense.
RUMUS:
S + Shall/Will + Have + Been + Verb-ing + ...

3. CONTOH
Berikut contoh dari Future Perfect Continuous Tense.
a. (+) : We shall have been working there for a year by March 1991.
(-) : We shan't have been working there for a year by March 1991.
(?) : Shall we have been working there for a year by March 1991?

b. (+) : I shall have been studying here for two years by this year.
(-) : I shan't have been studying here for two years by this year.
(?) : Shall I have been studying here for two years by this year?

c. (+) : Desy will have been eating for 2 hours by four o'clock.
(-) : Desy won't have been eating for 2 hours by four o'clock.
(?) : Will Desy have been eating for 2 hours by four o'clock?

d. (+) : He will have been helping me for nine months by the end of this months.
(-) : He won't have been helping me for nine months by the end of this months.
(?) : Will he have been helping me for nine months by the end of this months?
